Holograms can organically complement digital technology in ooh advertising. They enliven the advertising medium, creating the impression that you are looking at a real person or object, and not video on a flat surface. Such advertising attracts the eyes of passers-by and makes them come closer and take out a smartphone.

In Estonia, telecommunications company Elisa and ETV have used holographic technology in outdoor advertising to promote the Reetur espionage series.

Ooh advertising operator JCDecaux Estonia and technology company Holovision installed a two-way virtual display at a bus stop in Tallinn. The hologram of the protagonist of the series looked directly into the eyes of people going to a stop, then directed the camera and took them off.

An unusual advertising medium attracted the attention of passers-by, they often stopped and themselves shot ads on a smartphone.
